MediWales members Direct Healthcare win their fourth award for 2011

Direct Healthcare Services are a rapidly expanding company in the manufacturer, distribution and service of pressure care equipment including high specification foam mattresses, dynamic mattresses, overlays, cushions and beds. During the last 2 years the company has trebled the size of its manufacturing facility based in Caerphilly.

Rececntly they won the People’s Choice Award in the Excellence in Supply Awards 2011 for Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. Direct Healthcare were voted by Trust employees as making the most significant contribution to the Trust in terms of service, support and value for money, resulting in the contribution to the delivery of excellent patient care.

In 2011 they won several other awards including: 

New Company of the Year Award from “Go Compare” at the IWA / Western Mail Business Awards 2011

Premier Award at the ninth annual Caerphilly Business Forum Awards

Innovative Product Showcase Award for the Dyna-Form Mercury Advance Mattress, at the National Association of Equipment Providers (N.A.E.P) 2011 Conference in Blackpool
