Molomix Bioscience is a south Wales-based innovator with a mission to revolutionise genetic and molecular diagnostics. We are tackling the critical delays, costs, and risks of the traditional centralised lab model by deploying revolutionary “Lab-on-a-Chip” platforms directly to the point of care. Our unique “Diagnostics as a Service” model provides these SiGenex-powered platforms – for applications from cancer sequencing to rapid pathogen detection – as a complete subscription service with zero capital expenditure for our partners.

This approach is designed to make advanced diagnostics accessible and affordable, helping to level the playing field in areas facing health inequalities. We are currently preparing for a formal comparative study with a leading Welsh University to validate the technology within the Welsh healthcare ecosystem. Following successful MHRA approvals, we expect the first commercial platforms to be available in Q1 2026, positioning Wales at the forefront of decentralised diagnostics.
