DESCRIPTION:Why Medica?\n\nMEDICA is the world’s largest event for the medical sector\, attracting more than 5\,100 exhibitors from 70 countries\, ranging from World leading organisations to small firms\, and over 120\,000 visitors. It offers good export opportunities for Welsh businesses in the life science sector.\n\n \n\nWhy Attend? \n\nThis visit will provide you with the opportunity to showcase your company\, gain valuable contacts and build your exports in this sector.\n\nBy participating in this visit\, you will benefit from:\n\n 	Cost effective means of visiting the market. \n 	Network and engage with key businesses and decision makers in the market\n 	Sharing knowledge and information with other participants\n 	Assistance with travel arrangements through appointed travel agent\n 	Attend networking events\n 	Inclusion in any marketing material\n\nThe Cost\n\nThe Welsh Government is supporting* companies to take part in this export market visit. For this event\, you can attend either as an exhibitor or as a visitor:  \n\nExhibitor – The cost to exhibit is £2\,500 for two representatives per company. This includes:\n\n 	Return flights and in market transfers\n 	4 nights accommodation (including breakfast)\n 	4  day Medica exhibition pass\n 	Exhibition stand and exhibition registration\n 	Online/catalogue entry \n\nVisitor – The cost is £600 for one representative per company. This includes:\n\n 	Return flights and in market transfers (one way)\n 	3 nights accommodation (including breakfast)\n 	Medica visitor pass\n\nIf you would like support to arrange a programme of 5-6 meetings during Medica\, then this can be done at an additional cost of £750. \nDeadline for application is 30 September 2021. \nVisit the Welsh Government page to register\n*For this exhibition\, there is only a limited number of packages available\, please sign up early to avoid disappointment.
