Welsh Government Event: UK-China HIFU Therapy Symposium

Ultrasound has been regularly used in diagnosis of pregnancy and diseases. However you may not know what ultrasound could do in cancer treatment.


 

High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is a non-invasive way to treat solid tumors including primary and metastatic liver cancer, breast cancer, primary and metastatic malignant bone tumors, soft tissue sarcomas, and benign tumors such as uterine fibroids and breast fibroadenomas.
