Clinical Trials for Non-Scientists

Key to the approval of all medicines and some medical devices are clinical trials.

The principles of all clinical trials are the same; a need for consistent, high quality, reliable results, achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner (even if the individual routes to those results are different).

By attending this one-day, interactive course you will understand:

– What a clinical trial is
– How we design and run successful clinical trials
– How we can be sure that our results are consistent, true and meaningful
– What we can do if things don’t go to plan
… and if you have no scientific background, we will introduce you to scientific thinking and principles.

PLEASE NOTE: This day is less appropriate if you already have experience running clinical trials. It does not go into any depth on specific NHS, local authority or regulatory requirements (which are specialist subjects in their own right).

The cost of this event is £150 plus VAT, with a discounted rate of £100 plus VAT for Medilink members.
