Have your say! Hands-on skills training workshops for SMEs – training needs survey

Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through Interreg programme (www.winss.org), WINSS will create project-based training opportunities and run hands-on skills training workshops for SMEs in Chemistry across the border region of Ireland and Wales.

Click here to complete the survey and have your say.

The ultimate goal is to work with SMEs in the region to up-skill their employees, and provide new workforces with required scientific skills.

The benefits for SMEs include:

  • Free skill courses for eligible SMEs held at Bangor University
  • Hands-on skill training opportunities.
  • Training can be problem-based or project-based if trainees bring problems or samples for testing.
  • Academic-industry partnerships and collaborations formed through tailored short-term projects aiming to solve the applied practical problems.

To tailor the program to meet industry needs we are conducting a survey. We greatly appreciate your time completing this questionnaire.

Please return the completed questionnaire to us by 3rd April 2012, either to the postal address: Dr Hongyun Tai, School of Chemistry, Bangor University, Bangor, LL57 2UW, or the email box h.tai@bangor.ac.uk
