Ensinger is a German family owned multi-national company with more than 40 locations worldwide, manufacturing and distributing engineering plastics. Since its UK establishment in 1987, the company has grown into six stock shape distribution centres that have been strategically placed throughout the British Isles, as well as two state of the art machine shops.

The stock shapes division has over one hundred different engineering plastic materials in its domain available in rod, sheet and tube forms. Materials can be cut to size, ground or planed to match your requirements.
The extensive list of medical grade materials are used in a wide range of applications in medical, pharmaceutical and life science technology. These include TECAFORM AH MT (Acetal) and TECASON P MT (Polysulphone), typically used in sizing trial parts, TECAPRO MT (Polypropylene) used to produce sterilization containers and TECAPEEK MT (PEEK) used in dental keys and guide assembly for tube fixtures. Ensinger’s stock shapes division holds the ISO 13485 certification, enabling its customers to rely on a certified quality management system.
Ensinger also understands the impact of corrosion; contamination and damage on medical products and so, depending on customer requirements, use a protective film or blister packaging to protect the product from such occurrences.
Ensinger’s machined parts division is at the forefront of technological machining of engineering plastics. Ideally equipped with state of the art machining centres for CNC routing, turning and milling, Ensinger can produce finished components to the highest standard. Sophisticated onboard CAD/CAM specialist equipment aids our highly skilled production personnel to program even the most complex parts.
Ensinger Precision Engineering Ltd, at Tonyrefail, is now home to a newly built cleaning and packing facility, which offers hygienic finishing of components by following strict quality control inspection. The facility hopes to gain Ensinger’s machined parts division the ISO 13485 certification by the latter part of 2011, to guarantee a high standard of quality with the services it supplies to the medical industry.
Machined plastics from Ensinger meet the high standards of hygiene in medical technology, having been subject to frequent cleaning and disinfection. This is an advantage for instruments used in diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and pharmaceuticals. Inscription on finished components is also available by means of engraving, laser and hot stamping.
Ensinger is highly focussed on application engineering and our dedicated department works closely with customers on a technical level to assist in developing applications, specifying materials and optimising parts for manufacture.
Having been awarded with the highest quality standards, Ensinger continuously invests in research and development to meet the latest demands. Stringent quality guidelines cover every individual process, from semi-finished stock shapes through to the finished product with complete traceability also available. Ensinger is also an investor in people, ensuring that its staff have the highest expertise in order to help you with the most efficient and professional approach.
