Digital Health and Care Wales publishes new Information, Intelligence and Research Annual Report

Digital Health and Care Wales (DCHW) has published a new Information, Intelligence and Research Annual Report, showcasing progress against Mission 4 of its strategic plan: driving better value and outcomes through innovation.

Building on the 2023 Research & Innovation and Information & Analytics strategies, the report outlines the growing range of information, intelligence, knowledge management and research services that are now available to the health and care community in Wales.

Structured around four shared strategic aims, the report features key achievements, real-world impacts and future plans, demonstrating how integrated services contribute to improved health outcomes and system transformation. It also highlights the value of strong partnerships and stakeholder collaboration in advancing innovation and service improvement.

Over the past year, DHCW has strengthened its focus on user involvement – developing more robust approaches to designing, validating and evaluating services based on user needs. While committed to delivering its strategic plans, DHCW remains responsive to the evolving demands of the healthcare system, aiming to support better health and care outcomes across Wales.
